Export Quality Standard

BAF Quality Standard

BAF judges Commodities based on our Experience.

What commodity is supposingly cannot be recycled thus not suitable for exporting:
1) Prohibited items classified by countries.
2) Any harmful material that causes environmental pollution.
3) Those commodities which recycling technology has not yet been established.

4) Materials which has no recycling market yet;
and so on.

As for commodities which BAF handles are class 1 and 2; within these two classes there are A and B grades.
 Large proportion are mixed with (virgin grade) raw materials for reuse.
These are expensive commodities which really are called recycling plastic raw materials and which is different from 'wood scrap'.

Moral and commodity knowledge for handling C and D grades are important.
Recently, original division of commodities is strengthened as for acquisition of ISO 14001; from factory, transport trader to reprocessing factory they have mutual verification and recycling technical guidance to each parties, thus these grades have become reprocess-able.

However we must note sufficiently materials must not be discharged with vague verification and enlarge producers' responsibility by pursuing to foreign country. Take for example, Japan local factories are paying approximately 30 to 50 yen per kilogram for every material delivery (includes tariff and others); high quality crushed materials can cost up to 70% of prime resins.

① A+/- Grade raw materials (possible to reuse at origin)
② B+/- Grade raw materials (processing time is required, but material is 99% reycle-able)
③ C+/- Grade raw materials (yield rate of reprcessed falls in case of reusing)
④ D+/- Grade raw materials (thorough washing and division is need to prevent pollution)

⑤ F Grade Clearly violate Basel Treaty (rubbish) - ban on export
